Duration of Your Stay

If planning on a several months stay, certain considerations are needed. Do you want to be in a place where you always need a car to access your necessary goods and services?   How close are you to medical or hospital facilities in the event of an emergency?  Secluded locations deep in the jungle may be affordable and attractive but less desirable at times when medical or other assistance may be needed.

The Acanto Condominium Hotel is in a convenient location in the center of much of the commercial and entertainment activity in Playa del Carmen. It is a two-block walk to the beach access point at the foot of Av. Constituentes, and a three-block walk to the Mega grocery store on this same street. Numerous shops, restaurants and pharmacies surround the hotel, and taxis are always available nearby, making the overall location one of the most convenient in the city.

Despite its proximity to the center of all the action in the city, the interior courtyard is remarkably quiet and peaceful. Nights are quiet and dark, making it easy to get the rest needed for all the daytime activities.

Price and Budget?

What is your monthly budget for accommodation, food, and entertainment?  Can you afford it for the duration of your stay?  How many times do you plan to eat out? What is included in the rate? Electricity and Utilities? Internet, Wi-Fi, and TV? Are the furnishings and décor of the type that you can enjoy over an extended stay? What amenities are included? Is there air conditioning? A pool? Is the pool area nice?

At the Acanto, all the conveniences of a home away from home are present, including tasteful and comfortable furnishings, all utilities, TV, Internet and Wi-Fi, air conditioning, pool, and housekeeper service.  A continental breakfast is also available.

Payments:

Advance Security Deposit of half one month before Tax. Paid within 24hrs of booking. Full Stay Prepayment is charged 7 days prior to Arrival Date.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations are not cancellable except within 24 hours of the original booking.

General Cancellation must be 7 days before arrival to avoid 100 percent penalty including tax.

Cancelling your reservation more than 24 hours after the original time of booking  and before 7 days prior to arrival Date, will forfeit the full amount of Advance Security Deposit .

Cancelling your Extended Stay reservation within 7days prior to arrival or Failing to check-in on the arrival date, will forfeit the full Amount Of Reservation Prepayment.

All Reservations are based on availability.

General Policies

Visitors restricted to 2 persons unless advance authourization by hotel management, All must be registered with valid ID

Events, parties, Social gartherings prohibited unless advance authourization by hotel management

All Visitors must be accompanied by registered guest at all times

Guest will be held accountable for any incident of visitors

Guest must abide by all hotel policies

No smoking, no drunkeness, no disorderly conduct, no illegal substances allowed on the property.

Utilities

Water, Cable and Internet is included in Reservation cost.

Electric consumption is not included in Reservation Cost. Payable at the Front Desk after billing by Hotel management.

Electric consumption is calculated at the end of each calendar month or end of stay.

 Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed unless prior authorization .

A maximum of one pets are allowed in each suite. A $10 per day, per pet non-refundable cleaning fee. This fee is to cover the cost of cleaning and fumigating the guest room.

Service animals will be exempt from this charge. Height and length restrictions apply: pets can be no longer than 36 inches and no taller than 36 inches.

Undeclared pets will be charged $200 in addition to the applicable pet fees.

Larger animals or more than one pet requires property manager’s approval. Please contact the property for questions. Pet fee is subject to change. Pet Fees payable at the Front Desk

Our front desk can assist you with mail delivery and copy service for a minimal fee should you need it.

 Housekeeping Service*
Our promise is to provide you with a fresh, clean room. We also take our commitment to the environment very seriously and strive to freshen up without wasting our natural resources unnecessarily. Towards this common goal, housekeeping services are scheduled based on the number of nights you will be staying with us. Additional full or refresh services are available as outlined below.

For stays of fourteen to thirty (14- 30) nights: One Full Service housekeeping is provided every week (7days). Fresh towels and linens are available at the front desk as often as needed. Full service includes: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning of bathroom and kitchen, washing of dishes and kitchen utensils, replenishing soap and toilet paper as needed. Maintainace Inspection of plumbing and electricals

 For stays of thirty (30) or more nights:

One Refresh service every week (7days) Refresh service includes: replacing soiled towels, emptying trash, making bed with existing linens, and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed.

One Full Service housekeeping is provided every two weeks. Full service includes: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning of bathroom and kitchen, washing of dishes and kitchen utensils, replenishing soap and toilet paper as needed. Maintainace Inspection of plumbing and electricals. End Of Stay cleaning fee may apply and will be deducted from Security Deposit.

Additional Housekeeping Options For Purchase ( Payable at the Front Desk)

Full Service: You may purchase an additional Full Service cleaning for $20 per cleaning. Full service includes: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning of bathroom and kitchen, and replenishing soap and toilet paper as needed.

Refresh Service: You may purchase a Refresh Service for $10 per service. Refresh service includes: replacing soiled towels, emptying trash, making bed with existing linens, and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed.

 Check In / Check Out
Check-in time for arriving guests begins at 3 p.m. Check-out time for departing guests is 11 a.m.
